Breathwork

Many of us are unaware of the profound power held within our own breath. Pranayama, a Sanskrit term meaning "the regulation or expansion of life force through the breath," is a foundational practice in yoga.

It comes from two roots: "prana" meaning life force or vital energy and "ayama," meaning extension or control.

What will you experience in a session?

A breathwork session with me is a guided meditation lasting 75 minutes. In the first 15 minutes, we will discuss your needs, which allows me to tailor the meditation and breathing practice we’ll work through together.

You will then settle into a comfortable position, lying down or seated, as we progress through several segments of pranayama combined with guided words.

What are the physical benefits
of breathwork?

Physically, breathwork offers a range of powerful benefits that support overall well-being. It improves lung capacity and respiratory function, increases oxygen flow to support energy levels and cellular health, and helps regulate blood pressure and heart rate. Over time, these effects can strengthen the immune system, enhance sleep quality, and even relieve pain, including chronic discomfort.
